Reigning queen of outsider music in Berlin, Mary Ocher has been playing the traps for what feels like forever, but not getting the respect or attention that she deserves. That’s our opinion in anycase, and just because we have so many of them doen’t make this one any less valid.
The material is really strong, her show is totally unique and she’s the consummate performer. There’s really no reason why there shouldn’t at this stage be 1000 people trying to cram into each of her shows. That might not be the case right at this moment, although inevitably one day it will be. Best get in and see her now.
